Purpose & Objective of Position

The Center of Expertise (CoE) within SAP CSS provides the expertise in application and technology areas to deliver high-end advisory and support to our Premium Engagement customers.

Our work is based on a holistic understanding of our customers’ business and a strong relationship to jointly improve IT & business operations and safeguard their implementation projects. Expectations & Tasks

As CoE Senior Engineer for Logistics, we are looking for a

 you will analyze End to End Master Data Process of our global customers and present the results of your findings and recommendations to IT managers and executives. You have the chance to design and optimize complex IT landscapes, on which our largest customers run their businesses. Your area of responsibility will extend to some of the following tasks:

  • Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization, and Go Live of customer implementation projects
  • Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage blueprint workshops meetings with internal and external clients
  • Assisting in defining the scope of a project/opportunities, estimating efforts and project timelines
  • Analyze business processes including root cause analysis and technical performance optimization
  • Safeguard and Optimize Master Data Management processes and solutions in an S4HANA environment

Skills / Competencies

  • Senior consultant with knowledge of logistical processes and experience with respective SAP Modules or Solutions supporting process like Delivery Management, Warehouse Management, Transport Management and Inventory Management
  •  + 7 years of experience in two or more SAP Modules / Solutions like SD / MM / TM / EWM with at least 4 full cycle implementations.
  • Strong knowledge in functional integration and cross solution issues between modules / solutions commented before
  • Participation as Logistics integrator in SAP Projects Implementation for S/4HANA / TM / EWM.
  • Clear understanding between information flows and information usage within logistics business operations.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and open-mind person
  • Able to work under pressure and during critical situations
  • Experience in Consumer Products Industry.

Educational Requirements (degrees, class completion, etc.)

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.

Qualifications:   

  • English language: mandatory proficient spoken and written as we will be supporting customers in all Americas region.
